Event 6: Equinox Studios

Location: Georgetown Steam Plant (6605 13th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108)
Description: Informal tour and talk with Sam Farrazaino of Equinox. Join this site visit and learn about the history of Equinox, a community owned art studio: how it began then turned into a non-profit org structure in 2021. Participants will also get to learn more about the whole broad scheme of Georgetown development plans. Related Seattle Times articles: first and second. Lastly, we will tour thru the historical Steam Plant!
There will be free food from local vendors. Parking is available on site. Follow the sandwich board signs in from Ellis Ave S and S Warsaw St. And then find the front door of the plant and navigate to the classroom. Or text Mike (917-631-6249).
