Anne Xuân Clark has 25+ years of experience in the non-profit and philanthropic sector and has been Chief Seattle Club’s Development Consultant since 2011. As a Program Officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Anne awarded and/or managed $230 million in grants to non-profits, tribes and government agencies in the Pacific Northwest. She led the foundation’s regional Indian Country portfolio working with tribes and Native American non-profits in the Northwest, increasing grants from less than 1 percent (national foundation average) to 15 percent of grants awarded in 2008. Prior to joining the foundation she worked for the Seattle Chinatown-International District Preservation and Development Authority, managing two capital campaigns for the $45 million International District Village Square projects. Anne has served on the Board of Directors or Advisory Committees for a variety of non-profits including Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy, Pride Foundation, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Interim Community Development Association, and Asian Lesbian and Bisexual Alliance.
